Best Practices for Listening

For the most immersive experience, listen with headphones or through a quality speaker so the layers of sound can move around and through you with more depth. Before you begin, find a comfortable space where you can be undisturbed for about 30 minutes. You might lie down, sit with support, dim the lights, silence your notifications, or gather anything that helps your body feel settled and held.

As you listen, allow the practice to unfold in the way it needs to. Some moments may feel deeply restful, while others may bring thoughts, emotions, sensations, or memories to the surface. Let the sound meet you where you are, without needing to force relaxation or make anything happen.

After the practice, give yourself a few quiet moments before returning to your day. You may want to journal, freewrite, sip water or tea, or simply notice how your body, breath, and energy feel after receiving the practice.
